Bronx Excellence Schools
The Bronx Charter School for Excellence (BCSE), also known as Bronx Excellence 1-5 Elementary and Middle, is a K-8, tuition-free public charter school network serving the Parkchester, Morris Park, Wakefield, Williamsbridge, and Tremont neighborhoods of the Bronx, New York. Bronx Excellence is among the highest performing charter schools in New York City and State. In 2012, Bronx Excellence 1 gained recognition as a National Blue Ribbon School awardee-the U.S. Department of Education's highest honor for schools across the country. Bronx Excellence 2 received a National Blue Ribbon Schools Award in 2023.
