(Formerly Girls Prep Excellence II)
Bronx Charter School for Excellence 8 originally opened in 2020 as Girls Prep II and moved to its own amazing new facility in August 2024.
The campus expanded to also include single-gender classes for boys in the fall of 2026. We're committed to empowering every K-8 scholar through strong family partnerships and exceptional teaching.

From day one of stepping into our school, your child will be cherished, challenged, and encouraged to grow academically and personally.
We will challenge them to think critically, read fluently and with confidence, solve problems with creativity, and show kindness to their sisters every day.
We look forward to building a community that develops confidence in every scholar and comes together to promote scholarship, excellence, community, and integrity.
We are now accepting enrollment applications for the 2026-2027 school year.
