Founded in 2016 in the Morris Park region of the Bronx, Bronx Excellence 2 was one of the first schools replicated under the Excellence Community Schools (ECS) network. The school earned a National Blue Ribbon in the Exemplary High Performing Schools category in 2023 and celebrated its first eighth-grade graduating class in 2024.
The curriculum at Bronx Excellence 2 is built on the same award-winning academic model that sets a consistent standard of excellence for every scholar.
Did you know? From Math to ELA, Bronx 2 scholars outperform in the district: 96% vs 51% in Math and 93% vs 51% in ELA. 100% of 3rd graders in Bronx 2 are proficient in Math.
