Excellence Community Schools is very proud of its community engagement efforts. We encourage our scholars and their families to strive for success both in the classroom and at home.
Bronx Excellence, Stamford Excellence and Public Prep have several school-based cornerstones to guarantee that active parent engagement and open collaboration with the community are met. When new families enroll, they participate in a family chat with the principal to discuss academic and behavioral expectations. At the middle school level, 7th and 8th graders get connected with our High School Placement and Alumni Services staff during their various application processes. Accompanied by meetings and follow-ups to ease the transition into high school and college life, our faculty work with parents year-round in order to actively listen to their thoughts, questions, and concerns.
