Your Application Journey: Step-by-Step Timeline
We’re excited you’re considering a career with Excellence Community Schools! Here’s an overview of the steps and timelines in our hiring process so you know what to expect:
Resume Review
We review resumes and cover letters to identify qualified candidates.
Phone Interview
Selected candidates participate in a 30-60 minute phone interview.
Verification & Credentials
We verify necessary certifications, degrees, previous employment, and contact three professional references.
Interviews / Skills Assessment / Teaching Demo
Candidates meet with hiring managers, complete relevant skills assessments, and, if applicable, conduct a teaching demonstration.
Job Offer / Background Check & Onboarding
Successful candidates receive a job offer, followed by a background check/fingerprinting and complete onboarding.
