Since opening in 2004, our Bronx schools have consistently outperformed local districts, as well as NYC and NYS averages. Stamford Excellence has consistently been named a School of Distinction by the Connecticut State Department of Education. Two of our Bronx Excellence schools (Bronx 1 and 2; 2012 and 2023) and Stamford Excellence (2023) won National Blue Ribbon School awards, which is the highest honor from the U.S. Department of Education for high-performing schools working to close the education gap in diverse neighborhoods.
