About Us
Excellence Community Schools (ECS) prepares young people in New York City and Stamford to compete for admission to and succeed in top public, private and parochial high schools by cultivating their intellectual, artistic, social, emotional, and ethical development.
The Excellence Model
This model is the basis for the 2012 National Blue Ribbon Schools Award from the U.S. Department of Education in the category of Exemplary High-Performing Schools.
High Academic Standards
Our program is aimed at supporting all children in reaching their maximum potential through personalized learning plans.
Flexible Learning Groups
Our program is designed to be challenging and engaging. Flexible and easily adaptable learning groups are tailored to each child's specific needs.

Student Support Services at ECS focuses on special populations such as scholars with learning disabities, English language learners, and those with 504 plans.
